Q: I am studying Spanish but I am not taking A-levels. Can I still use your services? If so, will prices change?
Answer: Of course you can! And the good news is that prices for our services will not change at all. Please send us an email to hola(ad)myspanishexam.com and let us know who you are and if you have ever studied Spanish before.
Q: I live outside the UK and I am studying Spanish. Can I still use your services? If so, will prices change?
Answer: Of course you can! Whereas our prices for our services will not change, please note that you will have to make your payment in pounds and therefore you will be responsible for any transiction fee and conversion fee. Also bear in mind that times for speaking are UK based.
Q: What about if I know I will be late or I will not be on time for the start of my session?
Answer: Please tell us that you will be late or you will not be able to speak to us on the day you booked. You only have to email us or text us to the email and phone number that was provided to you in your confirmation email. If you tell us at least 1 hour before the start of your session, we will cancel it and reschedule it for you free of charge at a different time that suits you.
Q: I have booked 1 essay feedback in January but I will not have my essay ready until March. Can I still send it even if it is two months later?
Answer, Yes, you can. Your subscription with us will not expire until you have sent all your essays you paid for. Therefore, there should not be a problem if you send your essay 2 motnhs after you first paid for it.
Q: I am not happy with your services and I have sessions still pending to use. Can I get the money back for these services I have not used yet?
Answer: We are afraid we do not refund money. However, we can always discuss alternatives were you feeling not happy with the service received so far. These include a change of your personal tutor. We will do our best to make sure you are always happy with our services.
Q: My essay is handwritten. Can I scan it and send it to you?
Answer: This is possible. Please send us an email to confirm this with you.
Q: Does the essay question count towards the word limit?
Answer: No, it does not.
Q: Do you mark essays on any film and text?
Answer: No. We only mark essays on these films/texts:

Q: I have redone the essay you marked and I would like to have it marked again. Should I pay again?
Answer: If you have redone an essay we marked previously, you can send it back to us for more feedback. However, you should pay again.
Q: How many words should my essay have?
Answer: We only mark essays that are no longer than 1000 words.
Q: I don´t have a PAYPAL account. Can I pay with my debit card?
Answer: Yes, you can. It is also possible to pay by debit card, credit card or bank transfer to our LLOYDS account.
Q: Is paying on your website secure?
Answer: Absolutely yes. We use PAYPAL check out service, one of the payment systems used by many shops online. Alternatively, if you prefer, you can also pay by bank transfer to our LLOYDS account.
Q: The people who I will speak to and will correct my essays are all native speakers and qualified Spanish teachers?
Answer: Yes, we are. We are all born in Spain. Besides this, we are all graduates in Modern Languages and we have taken modules on how to teach Spanish to foreigners. We have also worked as foreign language assistans at schools in the UK and since 2013 we have been training students for their AQA AS Spanish exam.
Q: It is 2 hours since I paid for my service and I haven't received any confirmation email. Is something wrong?
Answer: We try to confirm payments as soon as we can. However, due to our busy schedules, sometimes this is not possible until 9pm UK time. We suggest you wait until 9pm UK time on the day you made the payment. If you made the payment after 9pm UK time, please wait until the next morning to get your confirmation email.
Q: When does the 24 hour period for essay marking begin: when I make the payment or when I send my essay to you?
Answer: The 24 hour period starts when we receive your essay in our inbox. We will email you as soon as your essay has reached our inbox and we will confirm you the time when your essay reached our inbox.
